I'm currently training for the INDY 500 Mini-Marathon. As I did in 2000, I'm raising money for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation. Again I'm involved with Team with a Dream. In 2000, I was able to raise close to $1500 for the Foundation.

Last year I was unable to participate as I was suffering from a Crohn's flare-up myself. 2001 was a difficult year with my disease. However, in Dec. 2001, I received an infusion for Remicade. Remicade is the latest anti-inflammatory drug being used for patients who have not had good response with steroid drugs. Some of you may know that due to the my use of the steroid, Prednisone, I have developed osteoporosis. Not a condition a mother of two young children needs to have!

Many of you were very generous in 2000. Thank-you for your support at that time. I would be most appreciative if you would consider supporting me again this year. Whatever you can give would be terrific.
